Ray Ring Bio  Ray Ring is a long time resident of the Asheville area and is a Jazz guitar player and electronics designer. He studied jazz guitar in the UNCA music program and went on to study electrical engineering at NC state. In the early 90's onward, Ray was the lead guitar player in a number of Jam bands such as The Incantations and more recently played with Leigh Glass, the swing band The Space Heaters and the Americana group Honey&Garbage. Ray enjoys playing just about any style of music and frequently wears clothing while performing, but he has special fondness for old school vocal jazz and swing that he plays with The Live Wires.
